There are many goals that we'd like to accomplish in the next year or two. The primary one will be to have more members enter the novitiate as Deacons, Priestesses and Priests. We currently have two ordained Priestesses, one ordained Priest and two active ordained Deacons and have a successful program of training the rest of our EGC laity to serve as Children in the Mass and then move on to the senior Officer roles.
Another major goal is to establish connections and communication with other magickally-oriented groups, particularly those at the local universities and colleges. In this way, we hope to be able to sponsor lectures on contemporary ritual magick and create a forum for open discussion about magick among those who may not have such opportunities.
The lodge is also growing at a rapid pace, with potential new members contacting us on a monthly. We settled into a roomy Temple space in 2005,outfitted it with a ritual equipment and various amenities and have been updating the facilities regularly ever since. We do have a wonderful permanent Mass set up and have all necessary equipment on hand for initiations in the 0-IV/PI� on hand. We also want to be sure to provide new members with a positive and worthwhile experience while they are in our lodge. So we are going to be sure and focus on addressing topics and questions that our newer members may wish to discuss.
Thus, (and we stress this strongly) if there is anything you would like to see done at Thelesis or anything that you would like to take part in, just bring it up. Your suggestions are always welcome.
